Bhagwan Ram Mandir Ayodhya also known as Ram Mandir, this is a Hindu temple which situated in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. Also called as Ram Janmabhoomi (birth place), which believed that Lord Ram was the seventh incarnation of the Hindu deity Lord Vishnu. Ayodhya is located near the Sarayu River. The temple has been the center of the long-standing religious and political dispute in India. Now these days new Ram temple is being built and people are excited to see its opening. It’s set to open on January 22, 2024 and our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate it.

History behind the Bhagwan Ram Mandir
The history of the Ayodhya temple was long centuries old. This temple is built on the site believed to be birthplace of Bhagwan Ram, which is one of the most revered Hindu deities. But this temple was demolished by the Mughal emperor Babur in the 16th centuries and they built mosque at this place. And this mosque was known as Babri Masjid which stood on the site for centuries until it was demolished.
In 1992 by Hindu nationalism, triggering widespread violence and communal tension in the country. When the demolition of mosque resulted in several month of inter communal rioting between Indian Hindu and Muslim community, sever people were dead almost 2000 people , from that time triggering riots all over the Indian subcontinent . A day after demolition of the mosque on December 7th , 1992 . According to the New York Times reports that over 30 Hindu Temple across Pakistan were attacked some set on fire and one was demolished . On 5th July 2005 , five terrorist were attacked on the makeshift Ram Temple at the site of the destroyed Babri Mosque in Ayodhya , India. All the five terrorist were shot dead in the ensuing gunfight with CRPF , but one civilian died in the grenade attack that the attacker launched to breach the cordoned wall.
After long time in 1978 and 2003 archaeological excavation by the Archaeological Survey of India found the evidence related to the Ram Temple, which indicated that Hindu temple remain excited on the site. KK Muhammad the archaeologist accused several left leaning historian of undermining findings.
Over the year various title and legal dispute take place like the passage of the Acquisition of Certain Area at Ayodhya Ordinance in 1993. After the 2019 Supreme Court verdict on the Ayodhya dispute that it was decided that the disputed land would be handed over to a trust formed by the Indian government for the construction of a Ram temple. The trust was eventually formed under the name of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. Five acres of land were allocated for a new mosque 22 km away in the city in Dhannipur village. After a long verification and approval in the 5th of February 2020, announced in the Parliament of India that the Modi government had accepted a plan to construct the temple.
Architecture and featuring of Ram Ayodhya Mandir!
This temple is the grand Hindu Temple which built in the Negara style of temple architecture, which is characterized by its towering spires or shikharas. For build this temple use pink sandstones and is spread across an areas of 2.77 acres . The temple is surrounded by large courtyard and has several smaller shrines dedicated to other Hindu deities. The most striking feature of this temple is giant Shaligram stone, a black stone which believed to represent Lord Ram, which brought from Gandaki river from Nepal.
The temple is around 161 feet high and has three floors, where as each floor was for different purpose. The first floor is dedicated to Lord Ram while second floor is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and third floor is for museum showcasing the history and Culture of Ayodhya.
The temple complex also includes a yajnashala or a hall for Conducting yajnas or Hindu fire ritual , a community kitchen and medical facilities . The temple complex is spread over 67 acres and is expected to become a major cultural and religious centre, attracting million of devotees from around the world.

This temple is considered as the one of the most pilgrimage site for Hindu. It is believed that this is the birthplace of Lord Ram and considered a sacred site. The construction of temple is seen as a symbolic victory for the Hindu community, who had been fighting for the temple construction for decades.

Recently in Ayodhya new Airport is formed ,which name is Ayodhya International Airport, officially known as Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport, this is an upcoming international airport designed to serve the cities of Ayodhya and Faizabad in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. This airport is approx 8.5 km from Faizabad, Situated adjacent to NH-27 and NH-330 at Naka, in the Ayodhya district, the airport’s name was changed to honor Lord Shri Rama in 2021. The airport is scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30, 2023. Flight operations are expected to commence from January 10, 2024. Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow, which is approximately 135 km from Ayodhya can also be a good option, one can hire a taxi or take a bus to Ayodhya. And they different way of visit Ayodhya we can used the service of road or Train.
Donations and Fundraising for Ayodhya Ram Temple!
The trust of the temple initiated a nationwide mass contact and contribution to reach 550-600 million people. Volunteers donation ₹10 and higher were accepted. The President of India Ram Nath Kovind made the first contribution of ₹501000 in January 2021. By April 2021 ₹500 core was collected from donations across over India. Also noticed that some Muslim and Christian communities also give there contribution. However some of the political figure question regarding the collection of funds and questioning the transparency of the process. Also allegations of corruption led to the involvement of Tata Consultancy Services to digitize the accounts.
Bhoomi Pooja Ceremony!
The official confirmation of temple construction occurred after the Bhoomi Poojan ceremony on August 5, 2020. The ceremony included Vedic rituals, culminating in the installation of a 40 kg silver brick as the foundation stone by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The event was preceded by a three-day series of religious rituals and prayers.
Consecration and Ramotsav!
Also doing the preparation for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony which have been underway with the Uttar Pradesh government allocating ₹100 core for Ramotsav a series of religious event across over 826 local bodies. This event is going in December 2023 and will culminate in grand celebration from Makar Sankranti on January 14/15 until the inauguration of the Ram temple on January 22.
Along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other political leaders and dignitaries, has been invited for the consecration ceremony. The guest list includes industrialists, scientists, actors, army officers, spiritual leaders, and awardees.
