The purpose of the well-known Hindu fasts known as Pradosh and Pradosham vrat is to obtained Lord Shiva blessings. Pradosh Vrat occurs in two days a month in Krishna Paksha and Shukla Paksha.

- Twilight – before dawn and sunset is favorable on Pradosham. At this time all prayers and puja will perform.

On this day wear clean clothes and white cloth after bathing in Triyodashi. Get God’s chowki to dress in colour. Place the Ganesha Statue atop the chowki.
